Bus Travel- Season pass worth it?

We will be living in Florence for a month and I'm trying to figure out transportation. There is no doubt we will be using the buses a ton. It looks like the month pass is 35euros. Sounds like that is the best deal for my son and I. Are the passes unlimited rides? And do we both need passes? Any other advice?

Buongiorno,

if your son is shorter than a meter than you only need one pass - however if you are both taller than a meter, you will both require a pass because they are issued in your name. Be sure to get a date stamp on the ticket the first time you use it (this is what indicates the start date and validity of the ticket) and be sure to fill in ALL of the info requested on the ticket - otherwise they will fine you.
