My Cousin and want to stay somewhere fairly central in Tuscany (farm stay). We want to be able to either catch trains or maybe rent a car to go to Cinque Terre, Florance, Lucca. We will be travelling from Bologna to stay somewhere central hopefully.
The easiest place to catch frequent trains & buses to visit small towns is Florence and there are a few places you can stay that will keep you in the countryside yet with nearby public transportation into the city for getting around.
