Hi it is our first time in Florence and we are going for Christmas - Just wonder will anything be open to get dinner (we don't mind pizza!}Thanks

Absolutely yes - you will find many restaurants open even on Christmas Day. Pizza places will be open all over the place - and it truly is hard to find a bad pizza restaurant:

And I strongly suggest making a reservation online when you can, my girlfriends and I frequently use The Fork because it not only gets us in when they say there is no more space - but it often has great discounts. (The website partners with them, but I really do use them)
