Climbing Steps in Duomo on Sunday 9/25

Arriving in Florence at noon on Sunday 9/25. Would like to see inside of Duomo and climb the steps. How do we sign up/buy tickets to do this?

For the Duomo and climb up the cupola, you don't need to book ahead of time. Just buy tickets the day of.

Can we do that on a Sunday? Where would we buy tickets? We don't need a tour?

Oops, didn't realize it was a Sunday - yes, climbing the cupola will be a problem since it is closed on Sundays. But the cathedral itself is open in the mornings and so is the Baptistery and the new museum Opera del Duomo, I would suggest you visit those for sure! Take a look at what else you can visit:
