My parents are in Florence from the 15 to the 22 of October. I would like to get them tickets to something during that time for their 70th Birthday. Any suggestions?

I think there are two ways you can go here - looking at the concert schedules at some of the main theaters (have a look at this article)

or you look at something in English that talks about the history of Florence. I have been to this show twice - and I totally enjoyed the story and the ambiance of the selected venue.
