Florence airport to hotel for group

My family will be arriving at the airport in Florence on a Thursday evening (8:30) in June. We will be 6 adults, 2 teen-agers and a 1 year-old. How should we plan to get from the airport to our hotel (in downtown Florence)?

I would suggest diving the group into 2 taxis and getting downtown that way. The fixed cost is 20 euros per taxi, plus 1 euro per baggage. If you were to get private airport transfer, the cost per person is around 15 euros in the evening, so the cost for the whole group would be much higher - check it out here:
