Lourdes, can you please help me with some suggestions for an itinerary and accommodations. We have a total of 9 days in Italy in September. We are planning on flying into Rome and spending two days there, then on to Florence for one day. We will rent a car in Florence and drive to Tuscany. The problem is where to stay in Tuscany that will allow us to see as much of the region as possible. We want to see Montepulciano, San Gimignano, Chianti region, Siena, Lucca, Pisa and then travel to Lucca for one night and Cinque Terre for one night. We will return to Florence at the end of the 9 days and take a train to Rome for the trip home. We would like to stay in a farmhouse/B&B for the 3 nights in Tuscany. We want to experience the "real" Tuscany while there. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The more I look at these farmhouses, the more confused I get about which one to choose. Looking forward to your reply. Thank you so much for your expertise and assistance
