Local market on 4th of May

Hi,
We are going to Tuscany next week and will stay for 5 days in a house 30 minutes south of Florence (little south of Tavarnuzze). On Synday May 4th we would like to visit a local market to get the feeling of a local italian marketplace on a Sunday morning. What would be your recommendation? And do you know of other special events nearby on that date?

As it is the long weekend of the May 1st labor day holiday, there should be events in many towns, including markets, from Thursday and on to Sunday. For example, there is the Sagra del Cinghiale in Certaldo from today until Sunday - http://www.sagradelcinghialecertaldo.it/
and on Sunday there should be the Aprilante market in Panzano in Chianti.

Head to any of the local towns, I am sure you will find something going on, especially over the weekend.
