Hi, we're staying in Florence and heading to the MotoGP Mugello on Sunday 31st May 2015.
We want to catch the bus to Scarperia. Can you advise if the buses run on a Sunday and, if they do, which bus and where to catch it from.
Thanks
Cath

There are a lot of threads and post on the forum on the Mugello Moto GP and how to get there... I collected most of the information into an article which I suggest you read: http://www.discovertuscany.com/mugello/mugello-circuit.html
It has links to the bus schedules.

You should also read this long thread which also includes some feedback from people who went and their own experience:

Enjoy Florence and the race track, I've heard everyone who goes is really happy, despite the troubles getting there and back ;)

Good info

Thanks for the great info Lourdes.

I will be renting a motorcycle/scooter to get to the track. I see in the info you posted that "Parking at the circuit is only for motorbikes and campers with paid passes..." Do you know if I can I park my rented motorcycle at the circuit with a General Admission ticket or do I need the camping pass as well?

Also, I'm getting gouged on ticket prices...I'll be in Florence 5/23-5/28 and back 5/30-6/1. Is it possible to ride to the track and purchase tickets there? Would like to enjoy a ride in the hills before the roads get packed on race weekend anyway.

Tutto grazie.

Are you trying to get tickets from the official reseller, TicketOne? This is the page on the site that has the prices:
http://www.mugellocircuit.it/en/italian-grand-prix/tickets-price.html
Not sure whether you can buy a few days ahead of, I think it should be possible.

This page has the parking lots - http://www.mugellocircuit.it/en/italian-grand-prix/parcheggi.html
you can park the motorbike there and then walk in like others do ;-)

Thanks again for the info and handy map. I figured it was a little too good to true that you could ride a scooter around inside the fence. ;)

I ordered some tickets from gootickets in Monaco but if they aren't shipped soon I'm going to cancel and ride up to the track when I arrive in Firenze.
