Pedicabs in Florence

I haven't seen that many out and doing some research, I only found tours such as this one:

If I remember correctly, it is because the taxi union protested at having the pedicabs available and taking rides away from the taxis (like uber is also not available here for the same reason). So you cannot find them around and just hail one like a taxi. You need to call a ataxi (055.4242) or go to a taxi stand and take one there.
