Seniors' Discounts in Italy

Hi, I'm new to the forum.

Planning a trip to Florence in May 2015, and I see that various useful information sites mention free /dicounted rates for Seniors over 65.
Does that include Australians? Or is it only for UK and European citizens.

BTW, I love reading all the helpful posts here.:)

I am the bearer of bad news for senior citizens, no matter what country you are from..... they have eliminated most of the discounts at museums, so now all those over 65 have to pay full entrance to visit museums. EU citizens included.
