We will be visiting Tuscany via car from Oct 11 through 17,2014. Is there a list of festivals, large or small that are going on at that time? I think it is harvest time so we would love to visit small towns/villages where local festivals are scheduled. Any help would be appreciated.

There are festivals in October connected either to wine, olive oil, truffles and chestnuts.... you can read more about them here:

the article mentions events that generally recur every fall, without too many details as the dates obviously change every year. Just take note of the weekends, as they tend to be organized on the same... such as the 2nd, 3rd and 4th weekends in November for the San Miniato truffle fair and the 2nd and 3rd for the one in San Giovanni, just to give you an example.
