My wife and I are planning to spend 3 days in Florence in September, followed by 7 days in the Tuscany countryside. We will have a car for the 7 day portion and would like to stay in two base locations to best explore different parts of the region. Our thought is that staying in agriturismos would make for a more memorable experience, so that's our goal. We'd like to stay in an agriturismo in the Siena area and another in the Val d'Orcia area. Our criteria is to find working farms as opposed to relaxation retreats, on-site meals (breakfast), free parking, and locations within 20 minutes of towns so we're not too isolated. As far as budget, we'd like to keep the cost below $200 per night. I've looked on Agriturismo.it, Booking.com, and TripAdvisor, but there seem to be limited numbers of reviews for a number of the farms I'm finding (and some of the reviews are a few years old). We're looking for some current recommendations we should consider? Appreciate any input you could provide
