Family History in Lucca

Hoping to get some info about where to start search for family records in Lucca. Is there a primary church or records office that we could be directed to? Family left there in 1920's.

I would start with the ANAGRAFE, which is connected to the Comune office. It is the primary Records office where all births, marriages, deaths have to be registered at.
