Hi- Im going to be in Florence for a couple weeks and need to figure out the best way to get to Via Antonio del Pollaiolo 172a from my apartment rental at 3 Via Magenta. Can anybody advise me about options? I assume tram is the easiest, but I have no idea. Never been to Florence!! Thanks!!

The bus service in Florence is very good. The attached map and directions is from Google Maps. Buy a ticket at a tobacco shop before boarding the bus. Validate the ticket when you get on.
I think Lourdes published a more-detailed description on how to ride the bus, but I can't currently locate that page...

Seems bus 6 is the best one to take from where you will be - here's the map: https://maps.app.goo.gl/WXGPDFBWCwGdUX2cA

The tram sort of goes in that direction, but it makes you walk more - to get to the stop and then from the stops.

Most buses now have the "tap" machine, so you can also buy your ticket with a credit card, or apple pay/wallet set up on your phone.

Here's the article on moving around with buses and trams in Florence - https://www.visitflorence.com/moving-around-florence/by-bus.html - I'm actually rereading it all and doing some edits, but for the most part, the info is up to date. I'm trying to include more info on the trams, considering the system is growing and it is easy to use, if it runs along the route you need to take.
