Hi everyone, 
I’m looking into unique outdoor experiences in Tuscany and keep seeing truffle hunting tours pop up. It sounds like a lot of fun, but is it actually a good, authentic experience or does it feel a bit gimmicky?
Also, for anyone who has done it, what is the terrain usually like and what should you wear? Are heavy-duty hiking boots a must, or can you get away with regular sneakers and jeans? I'd love to know what to expect regarding the walking and if it gets incredibly muddy or thick in the woods.
Would love any honest reviews, tips, or advice. Thanks!
