Hello -
last night I was enjoying a bit of night life at Florence with some friends and we happened on a live band playing at one of the famous cafes in the PIAZZA REPUBBLICA.
when you walk into the square it is the cafe closest to the Hard Rock Cafe, but I think you will figure it out on your own because they were outside on the cafe terrace ;-)
Great place for Florence atmosphere and a late night gelato.

The area between the Uffizi, Piazza della Signoria and particularly around Piazza della Repubblica have, in one way or another, music outdoors, particularly in the summer but not only. Some of it is from street artists, others from the cafes holding events with live music. Just follow your ears!
