Hi there,
My bf and I are travelling to Europe for the first time. We'll be in Italy from August 30-Sept 8 and then Paris, France for another week.
We're spending 4 nights in Rome then 3 nights in Tuscany then 2 nights in Venice with remainder of the time in Paris for another 8 days.
What can we do in Tuscany? We are planning on heading over to Florence from Rome via train in morning. We are planning on Florence as our "base". That gives us 2 more days there. We are doing some looking around and thinking Siena/Pisa/Chianti/Val d'orcia. What do you guys recommend we do in the 2 days?
How do we get there as we will not be renting a car?
We want to do some sightseeing and also just enjoying the countryside
Do you think we should just join a tour? Any recommendations?
Also, you think we should extend to 4 nights and cut Venice to 1 night leaving for Paris in the afternoon to make it 1.5 days?
Thanks!
Any help appreciated
