Trip to Tuskany

Hi :)
We're coming to Italy for Easter week with a car. First we'll visit Gardaland for a few days and then we'll go to Tuscany.
Florence is on the plan to fall on Easter Monday and we're wondering if anything will be open that day? I hope the restaurants works ? We also need help with parking. Where is the best place to parking without entering the ZTL zone?
We're leaving in the evening, our accommodation is near Siena, where we will be for the next three days. Plan is to have a day of visit Siena. Your advice for next two days? We want to see real Tuscany, small villages and countryside. I know for many of these place, but I also know that we can't see them all. What would be the best plan of the trip?

I also suggest that you look at some of the itineraries that are mentioned in this link - especially Montecucco, not only are they about small towns, great landscape but they also include some beautiful wineries.

If you're doing Florence just for that day, I suggest you consider parking at Villa Costanza right off the A1 motorway and taking the tramway allt the way downtown - parking is cheap and safe, away from the ZTL ;): https://www.visitflorence.com/blog/villa-costanza-new-parking-lot-visit-florence/

Yes, everything including restaurants will be open on that day. It is a long holiday weekend and even the Uffizi and Accademia generally will have a special opening considering they usually close on that day.

From Siena, I'd suggest one day toward Volterra and San Gimignano (quick stop in Monteriggioni too), another south toward the Val d'Orcia to see the gorgeous views and wine countries of Brunello di Montalcino all the way to Montepulciano.

I recommend dedicating a full day to Siena, so don't forget to include that as well ;-)
