Val d'Orca in winter

Hi, we will be in Florence for a week around NE Eve and I wanted to drive to Val d'Orca to experience its beauty. Is it worth doing so in winter?

Absolutely! You’ll get different colors of the countryside but still very gorgeous landscapes, no matter the color. I would suggest heading to and stopping at both San Quirico d’Orcia and Pienza, at a minimum. Montepulciano also is interesting in that period the holiday markets run through January 6 so you should find it busy.
