Where to stay in Florence

My wife and I are heading to Italy for the first time and will be staying in Florence for a week. We won't have a car and wondered where to stay. Due to allergies we will need a kitchen. Thanks
 
Then the best choice is to choose an apartment with a kitchen or kitchenette so you can do some of your own cooking. That can be an AirBnB or Booking.com but you don't need to use that platform, we also visit and review and link to properties so you have direct contact with the owner.
