I am looking for suggestions on making biblical art in Florence easier for school age kids to follow. Which church or small museum would you choose for a short visit, with just a few scenes to talk about? A whole afternoon of paintings sounds alot, even for adults.
I work on Bible4Soul, which has the King James text and free word games at https://bible4soul.com/ . Reading the story before seeing a painting seems a useful starting point, but the names alone doesnt explain what a child is looking at. The setting matters too
Are there places with clear English explanations, or a family guide that connects individual scenes to the stories? Id rather focus on two or three pictures and leave time for questions. Also any tips on keeping that sort of visit respectful when people are there to pray, would be welcome.
