Wine shipping to the USA?

Hi all,

My wife and I have a Tuscany wine tour planned for this September. Does anyone whether any of the wineries will ship wine to the USA? How does it work? Any knowledge about cost?

YES!! most wineries themselves have the info on shipping right there and there and give you info about how much it costs to ship, depending on the quantity of bottles you buy at their winery. While I can't give you precise info on shipping cost, I know it it isn't cheap to ship... but, at the same time, the cost of the wine + shipping might be less per bottle than if you buy the same bottle in the US. Also some of the wineries here are small and they might actually not generally export at all to the US so buying local might be the only way to have that bottle that you just tasted and fell in love with, so there is that factor to consider as well!
