Hello!

We'll arrive on Florence on the 9th July, sunday, at around 19h/20h, in a rented car to take the bags to the hotel and then to the airport to drop off the car. The hotel is near the Plaza de S. Marcos, so it is in the ZTL A.
Is it possible to take the car near the hotel just to check-in, drop off our luggage and leave, cause it's on a sunday or, because it's an A área, that is not possible?

You can reach ZTL A on Sundays when the ZTL is off passing through the B area.
You should be able to do as you plan: drop off at hotel, then go drop off car rental. Then you can take the tram to get back to your hotel.
